THEORY TEST & HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST
You’ll need to pass the driving theory test before booking the practical driving test. The test consists of a multiple choice section and a hazard perception section. Both parts need to be passed to achieve an overall pass.

PRACTICAL TEST
The practical driving test is designed to see if you can drive safely in different road and traffic conditions and know the Highway Code and can show this through your driving ability. The test lasts 35-40 minutes. As long as you show the standard required, you’ll pass your driving test.
You’ll need to have passed your driving theory test before taking your practical test.
